Tabi, as the article points out:

"Tetris should not interfere with memories for new facts, but you should probably think twice before playing it right after you tried to memorize a map or something else with a lot of visual or spatial content."

So if what you were studying had a lot of visuospatial info, then yes.

Would playing tetris for ten minutes also hamper remembering other things?  For instance, if it were played for ten minutes after studying, would I then have trouble remembering what I studied?
