Oh, Jack Thompson. A few years ago, I corresponded with him via e-mail concerning where responsibility lies in these types of situations. His replies were curt and dismissive of my point of view (even inferring that I was "nuts", an accusation he seems to still wield against his doubters today). The back and forth e-mail conversation swayed neither mine nor his point of view, but it taught me a valuable lesson: there is no point in arguing with a fanatic.
