This was my favorite: "I mean c'mon the guy is trying to become a movie director. He's not interested in the gaming genre he's just using it as a stepping stone to further his career."

Can I request a modern-day update to the Spook Who Sat By The Door with Chiwetel Ejiofor as the lead? It's only fitting, right?

@Marijn: I agree. They cater to all sorts and unfortunately it means the good gets buried beneath ridiculous. I mostly just pay attention to what Crecente, Leigh, and occasionally Ashcraft have to say. Although that is doing somewhat of a disservice to their other writers. It's a good question of audience being catered to or the writers being the audience and thus catering to themselves. Whatever the case, I don't generally consider them the New York Times of games coverage. That's when I head for multiplayer or here.

Hot Wheels are hot again. Parent company Mattel is now worth more than GM. Got an old Beach Bomb VW model in the attic? You're rich!
