So I guess that the "10 year plan" is just the company line from now on for sony right?   I mean I can't imagine that they think that anyone buying a PS2 now would ever come over to PS3 until its the most inexpensive system on the market....which would only happen at the end of the PS3 life cycle right?  Seems like a silly position to put one's self in.

I also can't believe that they actually are trying to reconcile the lack of PS3 backwards compat with the "10 Year plan".  That's just insulting.
