Obama is ahead in delagates only because he was seen as pure as the driven snow in early caucses and some primaries but now that some of the facts about his past are out he is being seen in a new light. Senator Clinton has recieved much undeserved abuse in this campaign and she has not folded. Reading the posts by Obamaites one would think she is some evil liar. But I have followed her career and the past lies by Republicans about her are not as bad as the people posting lies about her now. I hope most of them are not real Democrats as if thought they were I would fear for the party. By the way Pastor Wright is no small deal as many say. If you hear his sermons in full, especially the one the week of 9/11 it is clear that he is a genuine racist and and a hate filled one at that. His  total lack of empathy for the victims of 9/11 and their families is powerful proof.  Senator Obama had to be aware of Wright's outlook and his trys to distance himself now will not save him.

I do believe the people in this country are starting to wake up and see through the charisma and fantasy obama has been dishing out for months . He nevr answers any question asked to him unless Hillary answers first then agree's with her he has no idea how to run a country. Talk radio and Fox news have turned this contest between Hillary and Obama into a white, black contest, and have made a point to remind the whites who they are and who they should vote for. The blacks have been totally forgotten because of Obama. When Barack first entered the public arena, he said We all pray to an awesome God! slindsley makes a very good point about John Hagee's endorsement of John McCain. In my thoughts, he is just as reprehensible as Mr. Wright. And yes, I do refer to his as Mr. Wright because anyone who is ignorant enough to make comments (numerous ones at that) and continue to make them does not deserve to be a mentor, much less a spiritual leader. And there in lies the major problem for Senator Obama. John McCain has never claimed John Hagee to be his "spiritual mentor." John Hagee is not the pastor who married McCaiin.

Although I admire it, Senator Obama's current move to distance himself from Mr. Wright in my thoughts is just a little too late. Mr. Wright's speaches were not, I am assuming, an uncommon occurance. There is absolutely no way that Senator Obama could have not known what exactly was going on at Trinity Church in Chicago. To claim that is assumiing that the American population is ignorant. As a child growing up in the a church environment, if anything was ever said that was controversial in the church environment it was the talk of the parish for works to come.

This is a no win situation for Senator Obama and I believe that today he took the best step possible and disowned Mr. Wright. That being said, I am still not voting for him...

Funny that folks posting as "working class" seem to overlook critical signs that point to who's the better candidate to represent their interests. Take for example the gas tax holiday that both McCain and Clinton support. The first "warning sign" should be "McCain and Clinton" supporting the same side of an issue that involves oil/gas. Obama does not support a gas tax holiday. And the majority of reputable economists agree with him, the highway engineers of this nation agree with him, even the "working class" truckers groups agree with his stance. So how is it that Obama gets it right on an issue that's important to the working class and McCain and Clinton get it wrong? Perhaps it has to do with the fact that politicians like Clinton and McCain are used to the old game of telling people what they want to hear even though it's NOT good for the general public in the long run. Hillary Clinton had difficulty operating a coffee machine at a Quickie mart today - how's that for someone who "understands the working class"!?! these people who suggest that obama should take a second seat to clinton make zero sense.  of course everyone wants their candidate to win, but to suggest that the person who is winning the race should concede to the one losing the race is the definition of a lack of reason.  

if clinton is able to pull ahead in the delegate count then good for her.  i for one will be leaving the country!  but if she is unable to win the majority of delegates then she is the one who needs to gracefully step aside.  so much discussion has been focused lately on race/racism, but would such a suggestion be made if obama were a white candidate leading another white candidate?  difficult to answer such a hypothetical i'm sure, but i for one doubt it.  i'll just be happy when this thing is over.  

bottom line is that regardless of who wins the democratic nomination and eventually the presidency most ordinary americans are still going to suffer the effects of a tightening economy, a weakening infrastructure, a horrible public school system, the long-term effects of this war in iraq, etc, etc, etc.  

one more thing:  i don't think that clinton--100 million since out of office--or mccain--married to a beer heiress--can relate to those of us who are having to decide which bill to pay this month.  by my estimation--and what we here in the mainstream and alternative media--this is a huge number of people and it is growing.  get real people.  millionaires tend to relate to other millionaires.  talk is cheap.  at least obama was still paying off his loans and trying to get out of debt just a few years ago--THAT i can relate to.  but for you obama folks, don't put him on too much of a pedestal.  he's still a politician and has told you all he intends to work across the aisle.  that means concessions people.  all i'm saying is:  let's not be naive.    

Not only the Tar Heel State!   Clinton will win the nomination and the general election.  That's why Karl Rove is doing everything in his mighty brain to manipulate the Democrats.  First, the Reps initiated the idea to the super"idiot"delegates and media by forcing clinton to quit in the middle of the campaign.  It didn't work.  Pennsylvania did not bite the rotten apple.  The other day, Karl Rove again published a list of "good" advice to Obama how to overcome the Wright scandal -  one of the advice - to denounce the pastor and show anger, more anger, and more anger.  Obama bite it with gusto, so he did it yesterday.  Let me tell you, brotha... OBAMA IS FINISHED.  DO YOU THINK JEREMIAH WRIGHT WILL NOW SIT DOWN IN ONE CORNER, FOLD HIS HANDS, AND PRAY AN ACT OF CONTRITION?  WATCH IT... he will be back, soon, perhaps "obliterate" Obama's candidacy, and political future!  

As for the Republicans, they don't want Hillary as the opponent.  The Clintons know politics too well.  Karl Rove is no equal to Bill Clinton.  Remember, he was elected as President.  The country became very wealthy and left the pocketbook with surplus.  We need Hillary to do another good job if not better than Bill clinton.  Let her lead the country - suffering from costly war, poor economy, high costs of food and gas, loss of homes, you name it.  

It's no longer a joke.  America wake up!  The dollar has no value anymore.  India's Ministry of Tourism no longer accept US$ at its tourists' gates.  What do they prefer to accept?  Canadian dollar...

I can't wait Hillary to occupy the oval office any longer.  Let her manage the country!

Perhaps we can learn something from the fact that the GOP is spending all of their energy trying to take out Obama?  KARL ROVE has written an article with skewed stats in an attempt to bolster Clinton's "momentum".  The GOP knows that Obama is the greater threat to their agenda and to their candidate.

Also, I'd like to suggest that if your vote is swayed by the idea that you like Obama but you believe our nation is too racist...well, then you are EMPOWERING racists.  Obama is so strong that weeks of illigitimate bad press have not crippled him.  Super delegates are still coming his way and polls are tight but with him in the lead.  Please join us in supporting him.

I'd like to suggest we look at the recent rare policy difference between the candidates: the gas-tax holiday.  Economists know that this plan will backfire and end up giving us increased gas prices with less tax revenue and that perhaps the only beneficiary will be oil companies.  Obama knows that reducing our oil consumption is the only thing that will reduce gas costs, and that our dependence on oil is an economic, environmental, and SECURITY issue.

Were Clinton and McCain really unable to grasp the economics here?  Much more likely, they were banking on buyijng our votes with lies and assuming we wouldn't be smart enough to see it.

Obama is the only candidate that will not manipulate us with fear or try to buy our votes.

It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.

Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her Pennsylvania victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources.

But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.

Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.

Mr. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Mr. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.

If Mr. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.
