    Wondering why you haven’t been seeing much of the GOP presidential candidates lately? Well, that’s because they’ve been on the road raising money. Sunday was the deadline for third-quarter presidential fundraising, and while candidates don’t have to file with the FEC until Oct. 15, if the past is any indication, we’ll start to see partial glimpses of how they fared financially as early as Oct. 1. But we don’t have to wait for those filings to tell you one thing: In what has been a somewhat lackluster year for GOP fundraising, none of the Republicans today will likely come close to raising the kind of money that the Democratic presidential hopefuls are bringing in.
