Well, I think that Saoirse can be nominated for an Oscar. Some people are even saying that she can win! And she has "The Lovely Bones" next year, so, if she is indeed nominated for an Oscar this year, she could be a two-time Oscar nominee in 2009...

My bad. She is amazing ... and the Academy liks children. Maybe she's the new Haley Joel Osment -- but for the sake of her career, let's hope not.

I think you are the first person that doesn't talk about how much good Saoirse Ronan is on 'Atonement". I really hope you are right about Romola Garai. I would love to see her receiving an Oscar nomination.
