Obama has used Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s speech excerpts MORE THAN ONCE. The problem is, he has been passing them off as his own. Should Obama supporters be voting for Patrick? When Oprah said “what’s the big deal?” when James Frey made things up in his nonfiction memoir, she was wrong and ignorant. It is not okay, and certainly not a good model for our children, to say crediting sources is not important and that crowd rallying language is above plagiarism.
